Wilson Cell Phone Cradle
We are using the cradle in lieu of an antenna cable for our cell phone at home. We live in a rural area with a very week signal. We have the cradle connected to a Intelligain amplifier and a small directional antenna. The cradle works as advertised and appears much sturdier than the tiny antenna cable we have used in the past. We do get slightly less signal strength than with the direct connect antenna cable. It is very easy to remove the phone from the cradle. You can not access buttons on the side of your phone while it is in the cradle and that can be a little inconvenient as it seems the phone must be in the cradle to get the signal. It is fairly easy to hold and talk with the phone in the cradle. Also, the cradle has a FME female plug so you may need an adapter to plug into anything but a Wilson amp.
