Got these to use when working in the yard, walking or riding my bike. The sound is decent quality, in like with what you would get from a wired pair from sony. The range is good. Sitting the decice (phone, nexus one) on a table inside it can easily go thru interior walls giving me room to go anywhere in my 1200 sqft single level home. If exterior walls come into play the range drops to around 5-8 feet. The loudness of these headphone for calls is great, and for music is good. Jogging in a noisy area or riding a bike downtown is no problem. I do notice however that when I am working in my yeard and using a mower or weedeater that the volume is only just adequate when at maximum.
The only problem I have had is with the broadcasting device moving (in a pocket while bike riding or on an arm while jogging). Even with the range only being 2-3 feet the audio can cut out. Re-pairing the headphones with the device seems to fix the problem but it eventually seems to happen again. I dont notice this issue when the device is stationary (like sitting on a table).
I mostly use these to listen to music, but the few times Ive made phone calls with it has been a mixed bag. I can hear the other person perfectly, and since the callers voice comes out of both the left and right earpeice its great for noisy rooms or people with quite phone (where you cant hear the other caller well). But, being the the microphone is high up next to your ear, people i am talking to tend to complain that the mic is over boosted, picking up a lot of background noise. Although they say they can hear me fine, its anoying for them when im not talking. One person said it sounded like I was inside a factory or meat grinder...it was actually just the roadnoise from my slightly loud car on the highway.
An additional note, its nice the provide you with several ear cups for a perfect fit. Also, I wear glasses and have no discomfort from the way they rest on the top of my ear as I have had with other headphones of this style.

Battery life/charge 6-7 hrs.
Fit is a concern if you wear glasses.
Headset either has go inside or outside temples.
I wear mine outside with good results.
MOTOROKR S9's ... Bring on the Music
I love the Motorola MOTOROKR S9 headset. They provide reasonable trouble free configuration and connection with my iPhone, iPad, and Sony Bluetooth Adapter. They also provide good audio quality. I however have yet to test this unit in phone calls though. It was easy to open thanks to the Frustration Free packaging.
Works well with both my window OS phone and my I-Touch
This paired very easily with both my Palm Pro and I-Touch.
It is not my preferred Bluetooth device for my phone but it works okay. Sound quality is good but the mic does not work as well as Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth Earpiece (Black) [Retail Packaging] which I prefer for general phone use.
The sound quality on my I-Pod is good. I like it for when I am commuting on the bus or train. Not having a cord to get tangled in my bag is great.
