Very happy with this device
I *love* it. In fact, I just ordered a second one, for my wife. After a couple of weeks using it I am very impressed. The phone function works very well. My wife used to complain that she couldn't understand a word when I used my old Motorola and Plantronics headsets, now she's very happy due to the Cruiser's excellent background noise reduction. That by itself would be great but what makes this unit stand out even more is the FM transmitter function. I have owned at least four different FM transmitters over the years, none of them could find a channel that delivered acceptable quality throughout my commute (I live in the Boston area, there are no unused channels here). In contrast, the Cruiser's signal is strong enough to drown out any of the weaker channels and finally gives me the listening experience I was craving for.

Why not five stars? A few minor nuisances:

- When my iPhone locks after a few minutes of inactivity, the Cruiser continues to send the music signal to my radio but it gets intermittent and scratchy. Strangely, it doesn't happen consistently, and when it happens the solution is to turn the iPhone back on and make the iPod app active, so no big deal.
- The quality of phone calls sent by FM to the car radio is lower than that of music, with some of the higher frequencies missing. But still good enough for me to use the FM function all the time.
- Occasionally I need to press the call button twice to establish a connection to my iPhone but I suspect that's probably an issue with the iPhone, not the Cruiser.
- I wish the intensity of the blue "on" light could be changed, as it is quite bright. I'm a tall person, and at night the blue light right above my head can be distracting.

Great speakerphone, above average FM transmitter, great battery life!
I've used this product with a Blackberry Curve 8300 and my current phone Bold 9700. Both phones work perfectly with the Jabra Cruiser. I've read some reviews of it not working with some Blackberries. I've had zero problems. Here are my list of Pros and Cons.

Pros:
- You don't have to wear it on your ear like a regular headset and take the risk of getting cancer in your ear 20 years from now.j/k
- It is very easy to set up and easy to pair with two different phones if you choose.
- The sleek look of the speakerphone is much improved from last year's model.
- Great battery life! It's been a month using the speakerphone in my car on the first charge and it is still going!
- Good FM transmitter to play your mp3's stored on your BB on your car's FM radio. I've tried other FM transmitters and they didn't do as well as the Jabra. The sound quality will be radio quality of course and you will hear some static, but if you find a good frequency it is very usable.
- When talking on your phone through the Jabra speakerphone, it is loud and clear, provided that you have a somewhat quiet interior to your car. If you have a convertible car then it might not be loud enough for you.
If it is not loud enough then you can just play it through your FM radio!
- One thing I've noticed is that you can leave the power switch on, and it automatically turns off in a couple of minutes if it doesn't detect your phone's Bluetooth signal. So if you get back into your car and the speakerphone is "off", and if your phone gets a call just turn the Jabra off and then on again and the voice will say "connected" and it should have answered the call for you and you can start talking. (Some people said in their reviews that you have to turn the speakerphone on and off every time you get in and out of your car, and this is a way around it.)
- It works with your PS3! In my original review I could not get it to work with my PS3 but I finally got it paired correctly(not sure why the PS3 doesn't automatically activate your Bluetooth device after your register and pair it, you have to go to another separate screen and activate it or turn it on). It works fine while playing Modern Warfare 2, and you don't have to wear an annoying headset!

Cons:
- The playback(mp3) buttons could use some improvement. They could have made the buttons raised and perhaps backlit so that you can find them without having to look up at your visor(if that is where you keep it).

Other than the mp3 playback buttons, this is a solid Bluetooth speakerphone. If you can find a good deal on it, it's definitely worth the money.
