    This Earpiece is Phenomenal!
I've never been happy with the sound quality of any Blue Tooth earpiece I've tried or heard (not to mention how ridiculous people look with that flashing blue light in their ear). After extensively researching the web for recommendations, I purchased the ER22C for my Blackberry Storm. Initially I didn't like the buzzing sound quality or the fact that it didn't cancel ANY noise. I contacted Etymotic's customer service and they recommended using a 3 ring input plug for the phone adapter instead of the 2 ring input plug that Verizon provides (input plugs or jacks as they're referred to, have either 2 or 3 black rings around the tip). Apparently the 3rd ring is utilized by Etymotic for its noise cancellation feature. Once I made that simple change, the unit worked flawlessly. I can be in my car with the stereo moderately playing and have a crystal clear conversation without the other person even hearing the stereo. I prefer the foam earplug earpiece that came with the unit, it's very light and stays put surprisingly well. Etymotic really needs to get the word out about the input plug adapter and include the information in the manual, because this earpiece is phenomenal!
